Fort Collins Rotary Charitable Fund

For 90 years, Rotary Club of Fort Collins has embraced service to the community, nation, and world.

Club members participate in a variety of community programs, some of which assist at-risk youth in Larimer County, introduce ethical standards to junior high students, encourage good reading habits, provide scholarships, and recognize outstanding teachers, students and cadets.

But the club continues to take on new projects with the attitude, What dream can we make a reality now? To help fund these projects, leaders established the Fort Collins Rotary Charitable Fund in October 2007.

“We wanted to build an endowment that could generate money to fulfill our club’s mission,” President Jan Bertholf said. “We also wanted to give members a way to leave a legacy of giving in Fort Collins. And our endowment with the Community Foundation allows donors to easily contribute to our charitable causes through www.RotaryClubofFortCollins.org.”

With this growing endowment, the club plans to support nonprofit agencies such as Junior Achievement, Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County, Homelessness Prevention Initiative, Project Self-Sufficiency, and Disabled Resource Services.
